About Hannah

I am a passionate and dedicated teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students succeed. With over 11 years in education, I have developed a strong ability to build positive relationships and create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves.

I chose to tutor because I value the opportunity to work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and see the direct impact it has on their progress. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student have that moment where everything “clicks” or watching their confidence grow over time.

I pride myself on being approachable, reliable and professional, while also bringing energy and enthusiasm to every session. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel more confident, capable and positive about their learning.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, engaging and focused on results. I adapt every lesson to the individual, whether they need support with understanding key concepts, applying knowledge, or improving exam technique.

I use a range of teaching methods including clear visual aids, structured explanations and real-life examples to make learning easier to understand and remember. Lessons are interactive, with opportunities for students to practise, discuss and apply their learning. I also incorporate exam-style questions regularly to build confidence and familiarity with assessment requirements.

A key part of my teaching is providing immediate, in-the-moment feedback. This allows me to quickly address misconceptions and guide students on how to improve their answers to reach higher mark bands. Progress is tracked through regular checks, targeted questioning and clear short-term goals so both students and parents can see ongoing improvement.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but can be adapted depending on the student’s needs.

I am a current teacher with 11 years of experience, specialising in PE up to A Level (including A Level PE and Level 3 BTEC Sport), GCSE Biology, and Primary Maths and English. I have experience across all major exam boards and a proven track record of students achieving and exceeding their target grades.

My lessons are suitable for primary students, GCSE learners and A Level PE students, and I am experienced in supporting a range of abilities.
