About Prabhu
I’m Prabhu Dorairaj and am from Long Valley, New Jersey, USA. I started dancing at the age of 16 and was inspired heavily by Hip Hop Dancers, Breakdancers, and Bollywood Dancers. I have participated in many dance competitions and have won 1st place many times during my high school years. After High School, I joined an Indian Hip-Hop/Bollywood fusion dance team and became a cocaptain of the team. I also was one of the winners of the famous #Swagpackcontest featuring cricketer Virat Kohli sir. I have further participated in similar dance competitions through social media such as #OMGPonnuDanceChallenge, #PeterBeatChallenge, #DevChallenge, etc. In July 2018, through Arya International Dance Academy, I danced along with the entire Dabaang team (Salman Khan sir, Prabhu Deva sir, Katrina Kaif mam, Sonakshi Sinha mam, Jacqeline Fernandez Mam, and Guru Randhawa) in New Jersey Just last month (April 2021), I won the MyDreamTV Dance Stars Season 2 Title, which was judged by 14 Bollywood Dancers. I continue to dance in my free time, refine my skills, and learn other styles of dancing as well.
