About Irune
️[About Me] Born and raised in Korea, I am a native Korean speaker who came to Australia to pursue my passion for music and performance. I am a graduate of the McDonald College of Performing Arts (musical theatre stream). I went on to study Music Performance (Honors) at UNSW, and later completed a Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne. As both a professional singer and a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with rich clinical experience, I bring a warm, supportive, and holistic approach to every lesson. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced singer, I’ll help you find your authentic voice, build solid technique, and grow in confidence - all while singing the music you love. ️[Qualifications & Experience] · BMus (Hons) in Music Performance, UNSW · Academic Achievement Award (AAA) scholarship recipient · MMus (Music Therapy), University of Melbourne · Registered Music Therapist (RMT) & Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) · Former member of V.O.X. · Lead roles in prominent Korean musical productions such as The Sound of Music, Grease, and Nunsense · Female backing chorus for Kim BumSoo’s concerts at the Sydney Opera House (2014) and ICC (2017) · Lead Singer – Lombok Sonata Concert (2023) / Busking ministry (2022 ~ ) · Extensive training across classical, musical theatre, and K-pop genres
