About Laaibah

Hello! My name is Laaibah and I am currently studying Biomedical Science at university. Alongside my studies, I have developed a strong passion for helping others learn and reach their academic potential.

I chose to become a tutor because I understand how challenging studying can sometimes feel, especially when a subject isn’t explained in a way that suits your learning style. Through my own academic journey, I have learnt effective study techniques, structured writing skills, and ways to break down complex information into simple, understandable ideas.

Although I specialise in teaching English Language, my background in Biomedical Science means I bring strong analytical and critical thinking skills into my lessons. This allows me to help students not only improve their English, but also strengthen their confidence, organisation, and overall academic ability.

I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students succeed and gain confidence in their abilities. Seeing students improve, understand topics they previously struggled with, and feel proud of their progress is what motivates me the most.

My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Biomedical Science student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students build confidence in their learning. While I specialise in English Language tutoring, my scientific training means I can also support students in critical thinking, structured writing, and understanding complex concepts clearly.

My approach to teaching focuses on making learning engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs, whether they require help with grammar, essay writing, reading comprehension, exam techniques, or building confidence in communication.

Studying Biomedical Science has strengthened my analytical thinking, research skills, and ability to explain difficult topics in simple and effective ways. I bring these skills into my tutoring sessions, helping students not only improve their English but also develop strong study habits, logical thinking, and academic discipline.
