About Katelin

Hi! I’m Katelin, a Biological Sciences student at Wits University, and I know firsthand the challenges of balancing studies, assignments, and exams. Having completed Cambridge IGCSEs and AS Levels, I understand student life and the pressures it brings, and I use this experience to help my students manage their time effectively while achieving their learning goals. I tutor English, Biology, Chemistry, and Business studies for Cambridge IGCSE and AS-Level students, for high school learners seeking extra support. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, combining clear explanations, practical examples, and guided exercises to ensure understanding and confidence in exams. What sets me apart is my dedication to feedback and progress tracking. After each lesson, I provide exercises and guidance to strengthen areas that need improvement, while also helping students develop study strategies, time management skills, and effective learning habits. About the lesson

I focus on a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to the needs of Cambridge IGCSE and AS-Level students, in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Business. My lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples, and guided exercises, helping students understand concepts and confidently apply them in exams and assignments.

What makes me unique is my emphasis on feedback and progress tracking. I provide exercises and follow-up guidance after each lesson, ensuring gaps in understanding are addressed. I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and creativity, particularly in English and Business.
