I usually adapt to what the student needs, however I believe that asking questions and letting them figure it out with my faciliation Is the best way to learn. I will teach the material but then get them to do some activities or ask them questions to test their knowledge. I have aways used a white board and pictures in the past as well. Visual learning is the best. And if it's a touch topic then I have them draw It out and we use repetition. But the best way is for them to understand the processes so I work with that too.
For the first 15 minutes we will review what we did in the last lesson, then introduce the new material, and for the last 15min or so we will recap on what was just learned
I tutored full time at a private school called Calibre education in bryanston and I have a passion for biology and the sciences. It's so beautiful to understand how everything works around us, both in the environment and our own bodies. I have finished my first year of university and plan to transfer to medicine soon!
Responsibility, effort, determination and dedication are attributes of trust that stand out in Sarah Wenzdel.
Sarah and I have worked together teaching people. She cares a lot about the people she teaches. She takes time to understand the student in order to know how best to teach at their level and in a way that will help them to progress.
Sarah is understanding of her students and always wants to know how she can help, she was an excellent tutor and helped me gain confidence in a subject I barely knew about. I would definitely recommend her in future.
