About Mara

I am a Cambridge certified English teacher and a recent graduate in Education Studies, who has been private tutoring for over a year now. I have taught students in various levels, from beginner to academic support in English. I am a native Portuguese speaker beginning to privately teach Portuguese.

About the lesson

Students' preferences and motives for learning Portuguese are at the centre of my teaching. Lessons are usually structured covering the main aspects of language learning, such as grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and writing. Students may also want something less structured, in that case a good chat is always a wonderful way of getting comfortable with the language! Finally, I like to provide fun and engaging lessons that match students' personalities and needs.

Perfect! Mara is an excellent tutor for learning Portuguese and leaning how to conversate in a fluent way. I really improved with Mara's classes and I am going to continue because I see that I am impressively improving my vocabulary and my pronunciation. I sincerely recommend Mara if you want to learn portuguese!!!
