About Amaan
I am an English native who lived in Geneva as a child and throughout my teens. I studied business administration in French and tutoring 14-16 year-olds to help them prepare for their iGCSEs on the side. I am now a second-year university student in London and am looking to bring my experience and qualities to the fore. As I was immersed in a French-speaking culture throughout my formative years, I have invaluable technical and cultural experience in the field.
Aside from this, I am into music, European (especially Italian) cuisine and helping people achieve their goals.

My lessons are aimed at both teenage and adult students who need help with anything from basic comprehension of French and English to advanced speaking and writing. This can include structured lessons with an end goal such as preparing for an exam or working on conversational skills, cultural tact and 'becoming' more French or English.
The first lesson, delivered for free, will be an opportunity for me to see what needs you have and a chance for us to discuss how best to proceed.
The structure I like to go with is half an hour of teaching followed by half an hour of guided conversation about three different topics that you choose the week before. My teaching comes from several French across all levels that I found useful during my time in Switzerland and from the invaluable experience that comes from growing up in another country.
