About Andres

My name is Andres, and I am an Electronics and Cybernetics Engineering student with a deep passion for software development, problem-solving, and technology.
My academic foundation is backed by a CS50 certification from Harvard University, which gave me a rigorous understanding of computer science principles and algorithms. However, I believe that true engineering is learned in the field. This drive led me to become the web developer for a TEDx event, where I successfully overcame severe server limitations to deliver a flawless platform. Additionally, I am the co-creator of Voxlab, a public-speaking mobile application that we took to a national hackathon and are actively preparing for a full public release.
As a tutor, my goal is to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world execution. Being bilingual (English B2 / Native Spanish) allows me to easily navigate global tech documentation and teach students from different backgrounds. I take my role very seriously, ensuring a patient, structured, and highly encouraging environment where making mistakes is welcomed as the best way to learn. I am fully committed to helping you build the confidence and skills you need to ace your courses and become an independent developer.

About the lesson

My classes are specifically tailored for high school seniors, college freshmen, and tech beginners who are taking their first steps into the world of programming. Whether you are struggling with your university computer science courses, preparing for your upcoming engineering major, or trying to build your very first app, I adapt entirely to your academic curriculum, syllabus, and learning speed.
As someone who built a website for a TEDx event and co-developed Voxlab (a public-speaking app for a national hackathon), my approach is 100% practical. We learn by putting things into production, solving real limitations, and writing code from day one.
I take my time to understand how to help you with review your code and help you with the logic, help you introducing the topic or a solution for your problem, live collaborating, and making an action plan.
I'm the tutor you would like to talk with for hours, I'm bilingual, so if you like to learn English or Spanish we can practice it in our sessions and talk about how to make full-stack projects and how to have an in-production project, so you can learn how the different projects you know are managed.
