About Harismitha

I am a dedicated Bharatanatyam learner who has been consistently pursuing this beautiful classical art form for over ten years. My journey has taught me that there is always something new to learn, understand, and appreciate. I believe that no one ever truly stops learning an art form, and I see teaching as an opportunity to share my knowledge while continuing to grow alongside my students.

For me, Bharatanatyam is much more than an aesthetic expression. It instils discipline, broadens our perspective, and connects us to our cultural roots. Through my classes, I hope to help students appreciate Bharatanatyam not only as a form of dance but also as a meaningful journey of self-expression, discipline, and personal growth. By sharing what I have learnt with sincerity and patience, I hope to contribute, in my own small way, to keeping this beautiful tradition alive.

About the lesson

My Bharatanatyam classes focus on building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, posture, and expression. I believe that learning this classical art form requires patience, consistency, and a genuine understanding of its traditions. My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s learning pace, abilities, and goals, ensuring that lessons are engaging and never rushed.

Alongside practical training, I incorporate theoretical knowledge to help students understand the cultural significance and rich heritage of Bharatanatyam. I aim to create a supportive learning environment that encourages discipline, confidence, creativity, and holistic development.

Classes are suitable for students aged 7 and above, including beginners and intermediate learners.
