About Susie

Hello! I'm Susie, a qualified primary teacher, award-winning theatre director and creative mentor with seven years' experience working with children and young people.

I'm passionate about taking learning beyond the classroom! From museums and galleries to theatre trips and hands-on creative projects, I love creating experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and bring learning to life.

I've also mentored children to write and direct their own shows, empowering them to explore their creativity and turn ambitious ideas into reality.

My aim is to nurture children's passions, broaden their horizons and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have up-to-date safeguarding training.

About the lesson

Learning doesn't have to happen at a desk!

I offer personalised educational trips and creative mentoring designed to nurture curiosity, build confidence and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Educational Trips & Enrichment:

I can facilitate enriching trips to theatres, museums, art galleries and attractions such as the Natural History Museum, bringing subjects to life through real-world experiences and complementary activities.

Whether we're exploring an exhibition, discovering the natural world or watching a theatre production, I'll tailor each experience to your child's interests, encouraging curiosity, discussion and independent thinking.

Please note: parents would be required to accompany on trips.

Creative Mentoring:

Does your child dream of writing their own story, staging a play or making a film?

Drawing on my experience as an award-winning theatre director and qualified teacher, I'll help them turn their ideas into reality, developing their creative skills, confidence and independence along the way.

My Approach:

Every experience is tailored to your child's interests and individual needs. Through discussion, storytelling, creative projects and hands-on exploration, I'll nurture their curiosity, develop their oracy and communication skills, and encourage them to ask questions, express ideas and think creatively.

My aim is simple: to help children discover their passions, find their voice and develop a genuine love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
