About Joni

I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 9 years of experience teaching high school students, college students, and adults who want to learn guitar step by step. Over the years, I have successfully helped around 300 students begin their guitar journey and improve their playing skills.

My teaching philosophy is based on clear guidance, patience, and making learning enjoyable. I believe that every student can learn guitar when lessons are simple and practice is consistent. In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as chords, rhythm practice, strumming techniques, finger exercises, and basic music knowledge. These skills help students develop confidence and play smoothly. I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy because it keeps them motivated and excited to practise.

Teaching many students has helped me understand different learning styles, and I always adapt my lessons to match each student's pace. Many of my students have gained confidence and even performed at school or college events. My goal is to help students develop strong guitar skills and enjoy the process of learning music.

About the lesson

My teaching style focuses on making Guitar learning interactive and easy to understand. I believe students learn best when lessons are adapted to their individual learning style and interests.

Students begin by learning fundamental Guitar skills such as chord shapes, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scale practice, and finger coordination. I explain each topic clearly and provide demonstrations so students can practise effectively. Real-life musical examples from well-known songs are often used to show how Guitar techniques are applied in real performances. This helps students stay motivated and connect their practice to real music.

Along with Guitar playing, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These areas help students build a strong musical foundation. My goal is to support students in developing confidence and creativity through Guitar learning.
