About Lumi
I am a committed Guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, helping high school students, college learners, and adults discover their interest in music. During this time, I have successfully trained around 300 students, guiding them from beginner level to confident playing.
My teaching philosophy focuses on structured learning, patience, and motivation. I believe that when students feel supported and encouraged, they learn faster and enjoy the process.
In my classes, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as basic chords, rhythm exercises, strumming techniques, finger movements, and simple music theory. These skills help students understand guitar playing more clearly.
I also help students practise songs and melodies, which allows them to apply their skills and see their improvement.
Teaching many students has helped me develop effective ways to explain guitar concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
Some of my students have gone on to perform at school and college functions, which is always a proud achievement.
My aim is to help students develop confidence, creativity, and strong guitar skills while enjoying the learning experience.

My approach to teaching Guitar is based on communication, adaptability, and practical learning. I believe students learn music best when lessons are clear, interactive, and connected to real musical experiences. I begin by understanding each student’s learning style, musical interests, and goals so that I can design lessons that suit their needs.
In my classes, students learn essential Guitar techniques such as chord progressions, strumming patterns, scales, rhythm exercises, and finger control. I explain these techniques in simple steps and provide demonstrations so students can easily follow and practise them.
I also use real-life examples from songs and musical performances to show how Guitar techniques are applied in real music. This approach helps students understand the practical use of what they learn.
Along with Guitar training, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation techniques, and songwriting. These topics help students develop a complete understanding of music. My aim is to help students build strong Guitar skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and enjoyment in learning music.
