About Mason
As a Piano tutor, I enjoy helping college students turn their interest in music into real playing skills. With over 12 years of experience, I create lessons that are enjoyable, well-organized, and focused on practical improvement.
My teaching style is supportive and flexible. I explain lessons in simple English, demonstrate every technique clearly, and encourage students to practice confidently at their own pace.
I use innovative methods such as digital piano applications, listening exercises, rhythm development, visual learning, and customized practice sessions. These approaches make learning more interactive and enjoyable.
Students improve note reading, finger techniques, scales, chords, posture, rhythm, and expressive playing. I regularly monitor progress and provide helpful feedback so students continue developing both confidence and musical ability.

My teaching style is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and positive encouragement. I believe piano lessons should inspire students to learn with confidence while developing strong technical and musical skills. Every lesson is adapted to the student's age, ability, and personal interests.
Students build a strong foundation through posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these skills are established, they continue with scales, chords, articulation, pedal techniques, dynamics, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I use practical demonstrations, listening exercises, and enjoyable activities to make learning simple and engaging. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and understand every concept thoroughly. Personalized feedback keeps them motivated throughout their learning journey.
Students explore different musical styles while developing creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive performance. These activities improve confidence and artistic expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These supporting subjects strengthen overall musicianship.
My mission is to help students develop confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for piano and music.
