About Ellis
I am an enthusiastic French tutor with 12 years of experience helping school and college students learn the language confidently. My teaching philosophy is to create an enjoyable learning experience that encourages curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
My teaching approach includes grammar lessons, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, writing assignments, listening activities, and spoken French. I encourage students to communicate naturally through discussions, role-play, and practical situations.
I use innovative resources such as online language-learning platforms, French songs, podcasts, educational videos, interactive quizzes, digital flashcards, and multimedia presentations. These methods help students stay motivated and improve more quickly.
Besides French, I teach French Grammar, Spoken French, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Development, French Literature, DELF Preparation, Business French, French Culture, and Travel French.
My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students become confident, independent French speakers who enjoy using the language both inside and outside the classroom.

I believe that learning French should be interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable. My teaching approach is built on Accountability, Integrity, Flexibility, Communication, and Positivity, helping students stay motivated while developing strong language skills.
I begin by understanding the student's current ability, learning preferences, and objectives. Based on this assessment, I prepare personalized lessons that encourage gradual improvement and build confidence step by step.
Every lesson covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I use conversations, role-playing, practical exercises, reading passages, and writing practice to help students apply the language in everyday situations. Grammar is taught through examples rather than memorization, making it easier to understand and remember.
Communication is a key part of every lesson. Students are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and practice speaking regularly. I provide patient explanations and positive feedback that help learners improve naturally.
Accountability is encouraged through homework, vocabulary review, revision sessions, and progress monitoring. Integrity means maintaining professionalism, honesty, punctuality, and equal respect for every learner. Flexibility allows me to modify lessons according to learning speed, while Positivity keeps students engaged and excited about learning.
Besides French, I also teach conversational French, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary enhancement, reading comprehension, writing techniques, exam preparation, and language learning strategies.
