About Deniz
While studying Songwriting at Berklee College of Music I've written at least one song every week. After graduation I've performed my original indie/art rock songs in Europe, across Japan and in the US under my artist name 'Deniz of the Bees'. I currently run a non-traditional music school and collective called The Hive Music Hub PDX in Portland, OR.

You will have the opportunity to follow prompts for your weekly songwriting/lyric writing that I’ve inherited from my teacher at Berklee, Pat Pattison, or go rogue and bring any song you’ve created that you would like to share.

I have been taking guitar and songwriting lessons with Deniz for several months. Before starting lessons with Deniz i struggled to play guitar and sing at the same time. Deniz was able to break it down for me and shoe me how to practice to overcome this challenge. He is great a tailoring lessons to my individual needs. Above all, he is a kind and caring person.
