About Lior
Hi! I'm Lior, a Brooklyn-based musician.
I have 15+ years of experience playing the flute, studying music theory and harmonic concepts.
I attended Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production and a concentration in Creative Entrepreneurship.
I've also been performing from a young age, having had the opportunity to share the stage with great musicians such as Jeff Ballard.
Teaching is a great passion of mine, and I hope to instill the same passion in my students!

I believe that a strong foundation is essential for any kind of writing in music, whether composing, arranging, orchestrating or songwriting.
For orchestration/arranging, we will cover instrument ranges and capabilities, the basics of different genres, music theory and harmony, and other key concepts.
For songwriting, we will analyze groundbreaking songwriters, expand lyrical and harmonic vocabulary, and explore songwriting approaches.
I'm open to teaching teens and adults of any level, and am able to teach using piano and/or guitar.
