I have played piano for 12+ years and understand the obstacles that withstand in this journey. I have earned
Certificate and Merit level 10: To receive this award, pianists need to complete a test that covers advanced levels of music theory, memorize piano scale for each corresponding piece, sight-read musical pieces. Memorized and played 5 level advanced pieces & performed ear training.
Guild High School Diploma in Social Music: Testers memorized 7 advanced pieces and played the circle of fifth at 100 notes per minute, the decreasing and increasing scales, IMMT chords, dominant seventh chords, and diminished seventh chords of each key signature.
Guild Piano High School Diploma: Testers memorized 10 pieces which were 7 advanced level piano music pieces (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary), Chords, Cadences, and Modulations for all Majors and Minors.

Each lesson begins with the student's playing their current pieces which are then followed by feedback and ways to improve.The student then with the teacher has time to practice areas of improvement. Or, if the student passes the songs from before, the teacher leads and guides the student into learning a new song. This is for students under 10 who want to start in piano.
