About Siva

I am a Trinity graduate and an artistic Tamil teacher. I see Tamil not just as a subject, but as a living language filled with creativity, history, and emotion.
I want to share my knowledge because learning should never feel like a burden. I believe Tamil becomes meaningful when it is taught through stories, expression, and real-life connection—not just memorization. My journey with this language has taught me how powerful words can be, and I want you to experience that same confidence and pride.
I teach because I believe knowledge grows when it is shared. My aim is not only to help you learn Tamil, but to help you understand it, enjoy it, and use it fearlessly.

About the lesson

In my class, Tamil won’t be only about memorizing grammar rules or writing long answers for exams. We’ll explore why a word feels powerful, how a line of poetry can hit your heart, and where Tamil lives in your daily life—songs, movies, memes, conversations, and stories from your own family.
Mistakes won’t be punished; they’ll be part of learning.
Questions won’t be ignored; they’ll lead the lesson.
We’ll connect ancient Tamil literature with today’s world—Thirukkural with real-life decisions, Sangam poems with emotions you already feel, and modern Tamil with creativity and confidence. You won’t just read Tamil—you’ll speak it, feel it, and think in it.
My goal isn’t to create students who fear Tamil exams.
My goal is to create students who are proud to say,
“This language is mine.”
