About Kathleen
I am a strong believer in communication and understanding. Empathetic teachers get the best results and I hope to inspire students to want to do better. I have been studious since I was a very young girl and have taken the time to teach my peers as well. I have a strong understanding in all basic concepts in the subject; theory, experimental and practical (biology included).

I will use real life examples and build connections to concepts in subject content. I am flexible with time and easy going. I aim to create in-depth understanding to promote individual learning and comprehension. A typical lesson plan would include asking what concepts need work and further understanding, going through said concepts in detail and wrapping up by doing practice questions together. I believe trusting a students learning style is a strength to be utilized. Looking to teach high school students and freshmen in undergrad.
