About Orla
I have over 6 years of experience teaching singing and hold an Advanced Diploma in Singing. My teaching approach is structured yet creative, combining technical training with expressive artistry. I work across multiple vocal styles, blending classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary techniques to help students find their unique voice.
Lessons incorporate music theory, ear development, and improvisation, ensuring students understand the language of music while developing flexibility and confidence. I provide individualized guidance, tailoring exercises and repertoire to each student’s skill level and goals. Beginners receive strong foundational support, while advanced singers are challenged to expand their range, control, and stylistic versatility.
I emphasize healthy vocal technique and performance skills, helping students feel comfortable and confident on stage or in recordings. Creativity and exploration are encouraged, so every student can express themselves fully through music. My goal is to inspire passion, build technical mastery, and make learning an enjoyable experience.
Whether you are starting out or preparing for professional opportunities, I welcome you to join me on a journey of musical growth and discovery.

My teaching approach helps singers master multiple genres including classical, pop, and jazz. Each style has its own techniques, and I focus on helping students adapt their vocal tone, pitch control, and phrasing accordingly. We work on breath support, resonance, and dynamics to ensure versatility across styles.
For singers performing in ensembles, I emphasize blending, harmony, and expressive delivery. For those exploring crossover styles, I guide them in switching smoothly between genres while maintaining vocal health. Exercises are designed to strengthen vocal flexibility and musical intuition.
I integrate modern tools like DAWs, metronomes, and pitch training apps to track progress and reinforce learning. Students record, analyze, and refine their performances for continuous improvement. Lessons combine technique, musicality, and creativity in a supportive environment.
The goal is to make each singer confident and expressive in any musical context. By mastering multiple genres and using technology effectively, students can perform professionally and enjoy the journey of musical growth.
