About Milly
I’ve had a lobe of the piano since I was six, which is when I first began taking lessons. With a background in church piano and some classical training, I focus on site reading, improvisation, and a strong understanding of theory.

My lessons consist of theory, fundamentals, and learning beginner songs.
Theory: I teach how to read music, how to keep time, treble clef vs. bass clef, and more.
Fundamentals: from how you sit to how you hold your hands to how you react when hitting the wrong note, I focus on the fundamentals of becoming a pianist.
Beginner songs: Songs such as Hot Crossed Buns and Mary Had a Little Lamb are ways to take theory and fundamentals and turn them into knowing how to play the piano.
