About Shaker
I am an engineer with a serious passion for music. I have been playing for 12 years electric and acoustic guitar. I have some basic music theory knowledge, however, I do not like to focus on theory and focus more on technique and feel. I am influenced by all types of music Jazz, Blues, Rock, Heavy Metal, Electronic, Hip Hop, Arabic, Indian, Classical and many more.

Usually, I will gauge the student's skills first. From there if the student is a complete beginner we would start to with the fundamentals (finger placement, stretching and dexterity exercises), in the same lesson we would also go over some Chord shapes and/ scales.
After 2 or 3 lessons and learned some of the basic chords and scales, when the student has improved we will start to learn some songs ( you can recommend a song you would like to learn if it is simple for beginners). at this stage, we will also look at new scales and chords
after learning a song or two we will move on to ear training and improvisation techniques. This is when you will really start to feel like a real musician. making our own music and writing your own songs is a part of this step. (modes and advanced techniques will be taught here as well,)
To get from each stage to the next takes dedication and determination from the student and requires you to practice on your own as well. my recommendation is 1-2 hours per day of playing and if you want to improve faster more is always better.
My methods are somewhat unconventional and more straightforward than traditional music training. you will not be required to learn how to read music or have any background in music theory. I can teach you how to read Guitar Tabs if you like but my recommendation is to learn how to play my music by ear alone. this method will make you learn the sound of each note on the guitar neck faster.
I hope you are excited to learn how to play guitar as much as I was when I started.
