About Javier
I have a huge passion for teaching and am currently finishing my last semester of study as a music education major at one of the top public music colleges in the United States. I have 4 years of experience teaching both individual and group music lessons to countless K-12 students. I also have taught several semesters of individual and group lessons at my university's chess club that is geared towards beginners and early intermediate players. I have spent considerable time crafting and editing a curriculum based on my experience teaching beginners for the past 2 years.

Ideal for first-time players of all ages to those rated under 1200 chess.com or 1500 lichess. No experience required.

You will receive instruction that is tailored to your individual needs to maximize your learning and ensure relevancy.
