About Theo

I am a last-year student at New York University studying Economics and International Relations. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I have lived in more than six countries, including the United Kingdom, Italy, and Bosnia, which has given me a strong global perspective and the ability to connect easily with students from diverse backgrounds. Outside of academics, I enjoy running, traveling, and exploring new cultures — I have visited over 50 countries so far. I bring an energetic, professional, and culturally aware approach to every lesson, creating a comfortable environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve.

About the lesson

I have experience teaching Brazilian Portuguese to students of different ages and proficiency levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners. My lessons are flexible, engaging, and always tailored to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. Depending on your needs, we can focus on grammar, pronunciation, conversation practice, or academic Portuguese. I also integrate Brazilian culture into lessons through newspapers, current events, and real-world materials to help you build practical fluency and confidence. My goal is to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment where you feel comfortable speaking and making steady progress.
