About Jay
Hey dudes, dudets, and doodles! Jay here, you might be wondering how am I fit to teach you. That is a completely valid question. I get how skeptical it can be to try to find the right person to teach you and especially online. So here are a few things that make me the teacher that I have become to be!
I started my journey of being a leader when I was just a little kid, you see I come from a diverse family. I have 7 siblings, 4 older, 3 younger. Sence I was little I knew I wanted to teach. My dream has always been to help people in any way shape or form I can.
I became the leader of school council in middle school, then theater class in my freshman year and now as a sophomore I run 2 LGBTQIIA+ groups that are both online and in person! I have trained others to do so as well! I've been a activist in my community sense was pretty young (I still am) and I will continue to do so. I am not going to sugarcoat it, it's not easy, but you do not have to do it alone and hopefully this will make it easier for you and help make your leadership more of a safe space for you and others! I hope this helps give you all the confidence to reach out to me if you so feel like it!

Hey guys! With the world we live in it has defently gotten harder to lead. What genrally sets me aside from other tutors is that I'm younger, and I identify as trans and queer. I also don't give up on any student. We all come from diffrent circumstances and I'm here for all your leadership needs!
My lessons work by me first getting to know you, people learn in different ways and forms so I will be asking what you are leading/looking to lead, what you see being a struggle or if you just want some tips, what your patient level is on a scale of 1-10, and also what your learning style is ect ect. That is so I can know what we need to work on now and in the future! moving on from there I will set a meeting with you to help you learn the way you see fit, weather that's hands on activates, threw email, threw zoom or all three!

Overall either way we will go threw breathing techniques, how to handle stressful situations, how to handle drama between others, and how to stay inclusive while still making sure you're leading a safe space!
