About Katelynn

Hello! My name is Katelynn Naidoo, and I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher (BEd) with a strong passion for helping young learners reach their full potential. I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring children in the Foundation Phase (Grades R–3), and I take pride in creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s unique needs. My goal is to make learning a positive and enjoyable experience through interactive, play-based activities that help learners build confidence and master all Foundation Phase subjects — Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills. I am fluent in English and committed to maintaining a professional, caring, and patient approach in every lesson. Learners can expect a safe and encouraging environment where they are motivated to do their best, learn from mistakes, and celebrate every achievement. If you’re looking for a tutor who is dedicated, creative, and passionate about education, I would love to work with you and help your child grow both academically and confidently.

As a passionate Foundation Phase teacher, my tutoring approach focuses on building strong foundational skills through interactive, play-based, and engaging lessons. I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each learner’s unique needs, learning style, and pace. My teaching style combines fun activities, visual aids, and hands-on learning to make every lesson enjoyable and meaningful.

I am fluent in English and teach all Foundation Phase subjects, including Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills. A typical lesson with me includes a mix of guided practice, creative exercises, and positive reinforcement, ensuring learners stay motivated and build confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are aimed at Foundation Phase learners (Grades R–3) who need extra support or enrichment. I also help learners improve reading, spelling, and comprehension, while fostering a lifelong love for learning. What makes me unique is my patient, encouraging, and child-centered approach, where I celebrate progress and help learners reach their full potential.
