About Caitlyn
My name is Caitlyn Petersen and i am 23 years old BEd Foundation phase student . I have a deep love for sport and teaching. I sometimes even combined the two. I am a very adventurous and active young lady that is prepared to take on any challenge and obstacle thrown my way. I love empowering students and helping where i can.
I come from a family of educators and my brother is currently overseas teaching English. I taught for 3 years at a private school in Cape Town where my love for teaching grew immensely.

As someone that could never really understand a specific teaching style, i had to be creative and find my own teaching styles that would work for me so that i could understand and be on the same level as other students.
So my methods differs, it is active, fun, visual yet basic enough to understand the foundations of certain topics.
I love teaching languages, mathematics and social sciences ( natural science and social sciences) . I love tackling the basics first before we dive straight into the complications of subjects. This will allow us to build more and understand in depth.
