About Addy
Hi! I’m Addy, a nearly 18-year-old tutor with a passion for helping others learn and grow. I teach English and chess, and I truly enjoy making both subjects fun, clear, and easy to understand. I’ve spent years developing my own skills in reading, writing, spelling, and grammar—and I love showing others how to get better step by step. I also play chess regularly and enjoy teaching strategy, tactics, and smart thinking to beginners and improving players. What makes me different? I’m patient, friendly, and I explain things in a way that makes sense—even if it’s your first time learning. I’ll teach you how to think ahead, spot threats, and plan winning moves like a real player—not just move pieces around. We’ll also play practice games so you can apply what you learn and receive feedback to improve every time. My goal is to help you become a confident, smart player who enjoys the game—win or lose.
