About Clare
I am an artist, academic, and educator with over 10 years experience in education. I have written for and presented at National and international conferences in my field and have taught in both schools and universities. I love to discuss and explore ways of reading and interpreting artworks and art practices. My teaching style is open and inclusive and primarily aimed at allowing students to follow their own interests and curiosities whilst providing guidance in terms of theorists and artists to study in order to develop students own intellectual journey and/or practice.

Fully prepped and individually designed sessions in art history and art theory, studio practice, visual language development, professional portfolio, essay writing and proof-reading. Everything you need to excel in your field. Covering painting, sculpture, conceptual, installation, photography and ceramics. History teaching is centred mainly on 19th and 20th centuries and theory centred mainly on 20th and 21st centuries. Works and artists studied can be chosen by students or I can follow a curriculum of your choice.
