About Jayanth
Hello, I am a teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed on the SAT. I have extensive experience in both Maths and English, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their full potential. I believe that every student can succeed, and I work hard to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners. As a teacher, my approach to teaching Maths and English for the SAT would involve the following steps:
Math:
1. Assessing my students' current understanding of mathematical concepts and identifying areas where they need improvement.
2. Providing clear explanations and examples of the key mathematical concepts that are tested on the SAT.
3. Encouraging my students to practice, practice, practice! This can involve working through practice problems, taking mock tests, and reviewing their mistakes to see where they went wrong.
4. Providing ongoing feedback and support to help my students build confidence and improve their scores.
English:
1. Assessing my students' current reading and writing abilities and identifying areas where they need improvement.
2. Focusing on key English language skills such as grammar, vocabulary, and effective use of language.
3. Encouraging my students to read extensively, including both fiction and non-fiction, to improve their reading comprehension skills.
4. Providing regular writing assignments to help my students build their writing skills, including organization, clarity, and style.
5. Offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement on their writing assignments to help them grow and develop their skills.
In both Maths and English, it's important to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. This will help them build confidence, develop their skills, and ultimately succeed on the SAT.
