About Johannes
I have been teaching since the year 2011 and have held workshops and bandcoaching sessions for larger groups since 2013. (For example for music performance courses at grammar schools or bigbands) In 2016 I was lecturer at the HfMdK Mannheim for the Nebenfach E-Bass for contrabassists. My goal is to promote creativity.

I offer individual instrumental lessons, which are specifically designed to meet the needs and wishes of the pupils. Regardless of which instrument, age, musical direction and ability, I find suitable examples and exercises for sustainable gain. In doing so, I try to find the perfect measure between diversity (technique, rhythm, music theory, sound, groove, music styles, ...) and repetition (eg how to practice efficiently?). The most important thing, however, is playing and having fun by doing so.
Having completed my studies as a Bachelor of Music (Jazz / Pop) at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, I gained a lot of experience as a live musician, as well as in the studio and at the same time learned to pass it on.
