I am a professional bass player and have been teaching since 2004. I am a member of several bands, with whom I have toured nationally and internationally, playing gigs all around the UK and over thirty countries across Europe and Asia. I have played gigs in all genres - from jazz to acoustic pop, and funk to heavy metal. I am regularly gigging in and around the South-East of England and have experience playing in all kinds of venues, from large international festivals to small, intimate pubs and clubs. I also play bass in orchestras for musical theatre and have played on CDs released through Sony, Relapse and other major record labels.

I hold a BTEC National Certificate in Music Practice with double distinction and Contemporary Popular Music Certificate in Higher Education with distinctions, both from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford, where I now teach advanced technical studies and advanced theory to degree students.

Once the basics of technique are covered, lessons can be entirely what you want them to be. I want you to feel inspired by music and want to give you the facilities to fulfil what you want to get out of music.
