About Gabo
I am a multi-instrumentalist musician, a music teacher for 27 years, I was part of various rock groups as lead guitar, sharing stages with important local musicians such as Los Piojos, Los Caballeros de la Quema, Divididos, Las Pelotas, etc. Later I became interested in Jazz and Argentine Folklore and in various musical genres within popular black music, at the same time that I began to study other musical instruments such as bass, piano, singing, sax, clarinet, flute, Afro-Latin percussion, in addition to playing drums since I was 12 years old, which was my first musical instrument. I am a sound engineer and I have worked with musicians such as Javier Malosetti Trío, Duo Malosetti Iricibar, Vox Dei, Los Caballeros de la Quema, etc. For more than 25 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching everything I have learned in this long way and today I continue to study but carry out research on popular music of African origin.

The objective of the classes is for the student to incorporate all the tools and resources necessary to correctly execute their instrument, at the same time that they understand in depth the roles and operation of the instrument within the different musical formations and musical genres. These classes allow the student to understand through simple explanations, all the operation of his instrument and the large number of possibilities it offers. To achieve this objective, the classes are totally practical and all the theory to be incorporated in each class is carried out on the instrument. Likewise, my more than 35 years of experience as a session musician, composer of music for plays, musical arranger and multi-instrumentalist musician, helped me to understand how this instrument interacts with the other instruments of a musical formation and at the same time, their role in the different musical genres, therefore, that practical knowledge, I also offer in each class to my students.
