About Jay

I am a first-year university student Law. I completed my A-levels in History, German and Politics achieving A*AA and my GCSEs were all 9-8s. I find being a student is very helpful for the students I tutor as I provide very current and useful resources as I too have recently sat the exams they will be sitting. I would love to adopt different teaching styles based on each students!

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic tutor passionate about helping students truly understand their subjects and achieve their full potential. I believe learning is most effective when lessons are interactive and engaging, so I tailor my teaching style to keep students motivated and involved.

I provide original resources that I create and use in my lessons to ensure students are learning efficiently and effectively. I currently tutor students in Years 9–12 across the UK, supporting both GCSE and A-level courses, and have received consistently positive feedback.

Lessons typically last one hour, though this is flexible depending on students’ needs. Each lesson usually begins with a recall activity, followed by learning new content, with a strong emphasis on exam technique throughout. My teaching is always framed around exam preparation to ensure students feel confident and well-prepared for assessments.
