About SPIKE

Spike is a career teacher who has worked in both formal and informal education, including colleges, adult learning, and youth services. Formally, Spike is a college lecturer teaching Motor Vehicle Engineering, he has grade 1 observations in this field. Spike is on the DBS register and works with children and young people through his work as a lecturer. Spike now shares his love for teaching with his passion for Bachata. He has been teaching Bachata for 10 years and was actively involved in the UK's most successful charity dance organisation, Bachata Exchange.

As an entrepreneur, teaching dance is one of my main jobs. I am super flexible and have teaching slots available during the day and in the evenings, 7 days a week.

About the lesson

DANCE COACHING NOT DANCE LESSONS
Learn to dance with your body and feel the music!
The sessions are catered to the individual with an initial assessment phone call to discuss needs and expectations. Expect to receive weekly feedback, video guides, and musicality training.
Learn dance techniques to improve body movement/coordination, mobility, posture and specific strength training.

I am very flexible with time. Your lessons at the time that best suits you!

Perfect! Spike is an amazing and passionate teacher. He takes your progress seriously, supporting you all the way. He is happy to help with anything, including finding suitable music to practice to, analysing your videos etc. I can't recommend him enough. With a very good observation skills and an exceptional understanding of foot work, Men's Style and also explains what other teachers don't mind to explain... A very good teacher in terms of listening to people's views and personal histories as he also believes in his students abilities to dance, no matter Age, Status, Gender, height and Weight...
