My name is Page, I'm a BAFTA Cymru Award Winning Game Developer with over a decade of industry experience.
I've created game development courses at BTEC Level 2 & 3, teaching Unity, Blender & Krita to classes of 20 complete beginners, many with additional learning needs. By the end of the BTEC, every student has built multiple small games and has a solid grasp of core coding concepts alongside developing their 2D & 3D art and animation skills. I can help you do this too.
I ran an indie game studio for 7 years, where a game I designed and was lead artist on won a BAFTA Cymru for Best Game. I now work freelance as a solo game developer, tutor, and game artist/animator for hire.
Before my career started, I learnt traditional 2D character animation at the University of South Wales, where I got a BA and then a Masters in Animation. I worked for over 5 years as a freelance animator, before slightly changing course and jumping into the game industry.
Now I'd like to help you reach your game development goals, whether that's coding, art, animation or game design.

My name is Page, I'm a BAFTA Cymru Award-Winning Game Artist & Developer with over a decade of industry experience. I've spent years teaching game development, game art and animation professionally. I can help complete beginners get into game art and animation. I can also help you to bring your ideas to life, not just through animation, but in learning to add interactivity to your art using Unity's visual scripting, no prior coding experience necessary, and I can especially help artists and creatives who've always found coding intimidating.
I can teach you art fundamentals that will help you no matter what medium you work in, and can teach you how to create beautiful pixel art, 2D art or 3D characters & environments.
If you want to get your art into a game engine, I can also teach you how to navigate and use the Unity game engine, and how to code using visual scripting to create small games using the art you've created. I can help you put together a game art portfolio, or make a game to present your work and show your experience working in a game engine.
I can teach the whole pipeline, from initial ideas to implementing your final art into a game engine, plus all the technical aspects that come with that. Or you can just focus on one or two areas you want to specialise in.
Lessons are 1:1, online and typically an hour long. It's tailored to you, whether you're a complete beginner, a hobbyist or working towards an industry career, at any age.
