About Caitlin

With a BM in World Music (Guitar Traditions) and 4 years of teaching experience, I specialise in training guitarists who want to reach the next level. My lessons focus on metal, shred, and progressive rock. These genres demand technical discipline, and I love helping students master them. I teach alternate picking, sweeping, tapping, and phrasing at high speed. Every lesson is carefully planned to build both accuracy and endurance. I work with young learners just beginning their journey as well as adults aiming for mastery. My approach is supportive but challenges students to push their limits. Clean playing always comes before fast playing in my method. I also bring in global influences to add richness to solos and compositions. This broadens creativity and makes practice more inspiring. Students feel both supported and motivated in each session. My goal is not just faster guitarists, but more expressive musicians. About the lesson
