About Milan
I was born in Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) in the late 1980's and came to Wisconsin shortly thereafter. Once I finished my Bachelor's of Music, I moved to Maryland and I've been here ever since! Traverse flute was my main instrument until 6 years ago, and then I added Vocalism to my performance and teaching repertoire.

I teach all ages of 20-80, regardless of gender, ethnicity, race etc. I am neurodivergent and use this strength to think outside the box and reach all students, wherever they currently are. Furthermore, my approach is "trial by fire" and "sink or swim". I am very direct and to-the-point with all students. I usually put the "ball back in the student's court" so to speak. I keep the conversations and advice focused ultimately on the student and not on me. I am very big on my students setting their own goals so they can keep their "eyes on the prize".
