About Mike
I am passionate about finance and love to help others gain a better understanding of the material they're required to study. I will tailor the sessions based on the goals of the student and their curiosity levels, whether it is strictly focused on the task at hand or if they'd like to have a big picture overview, I am happy to help adjust my strategy for all students.
Previous students who received tutoring in their subjects whether for exams or assessments were all very satisifed with their outcome and have introduced other students after they completed their subject or courses.
I have previously run the investment team at our university which manages the Business School's investment funds, allowing me to gain great experience in helping others learn and elevating their competency. This also led me to obtain real experience with hedge funds and the investment industry, I can provide an overview of what to expect and strategies to succeed in the industry.

I like to provide intuitive and logical reasoning with real life examples to help students understand key concepts in their courses. I help students build their foundational skills and understanding rather than going straight into formulas.
Typical lessons can range from 30mins - 1 hour, flexible hours and longer sessions are available for assessment / exam prep.
Previously president of university's student managed fund, teaching analysts key research skills and concepts in finance. Conducted private tutoring for undergraduate business students.
Able to tutor for students ranging from high school students to Master's level university students.
