About Ava
Hi, I’m Ava! I hold a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition Science, and studying human movement, performance, and metabolic health is my absolute passion. Whether it’s decoding biomechanics, untangling muscle actions, or understanding how fuel impacts function, I love diving into the science of how the body works. My approach to tutoring comes down to one simple thing: making complex science feel intuitive. Textbooks can get bogged down in heavy jargon, but learning human kinetics and nutrition should actually be exciting. I specialize in breaking down dense concepts—like joint mechanics, exercise physiology, neuromuscular adaptations, and macronutrient metabolism—into clear visuals, practical real-world applications, and straightforward logic.

Hi there! I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition Science. Studying the human body—how it moves, adapts, and burns energy—is my absolute passion, and nothing makes me happier than helping other students fall in love with the material too. College-level movement and metabolic sciences can feel incredibly dense when you're just staring at a textbook. I break down heavy theory—from joint kinetics and muscle innervation to energy systems and macronutrient metabolism—into simple, practical logic and clear visuals.
