About Yitong
I am a cellist with a passion for music, encompassing both classical and contemporary genres. Holding a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from Taipei National University of Arts, where I graduated in 2023 under the guidance of Mr. Victor Coo, throughout my educational path, I have achieved notable distinctions, such as being the "Highest Scorer" in the Grade 8 ABRSM Exam in 2017, earning the Honorable Mention Awards at the EuroAsia Strings Competition in 2018, becoming a Finalist in the 19th Osaka International Music Competition in Japan, and securing 3rd Prize in the Senior Category at the Cremona International Competition for Strings in 2023. Now I am taking a Master degree at Tianjin Juilliard School.

I was once a student and faced the obstacles that everyone has been through, I have figured an effective way to practice cello and also proper posture to play cello. My musical training has been enriched by esteemed mentors, including Mr. Lim Soon Huat, Ms. Yoshiko Ikemura, Ms. Elizabeth Tan，Mr. Ivan Torres，Mr. Vladimir Panteleyev, Mr. Alexander Kaganovsky, and Mr. Qin Li Wei. In addition to her formal education, has actively participated in various performances and masterclasses, including the Cremona International Music Festival in 2023, a masterclass with Spanish Cellist Monpou Lee.
