About Kelli

With one year of teaching experience, I understand the challenges of learning something new later in life because I started my own journey later, too. This perspective helps me connect with students who may feel they are starting behind.

Many of my students come to me believing they are simply not good at math. Often, they just need the right guidance, a clearer explanation, and time to build confidence.

We keep track of progress, identify which concepts need more attention, and adjust our approach accordingly. I focus on developing problem-solving judgment alongside technical skills, helping students understand not only how to solve a problem but also when and why to use a particular method. My teaching style is patient, methodical, and supportive.

About the lesson

Piano lessons start with silence rather than sound. My Taubman Approach practice focuses on solving injury prone technique through careful mapping of natural forearm rotation and pronation.

We integrate pedalling technique, scales and arpeggios, and ear training into the workflow. Sight reading, rhythm and timing, and hand independence also feature prominently.

Because I graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music, I emphasize biomechanics in every step. You receive free access to my annotated practice notes after every lesson. My method prioritizes a gentle, consistent approach to physical movement.
