About Amelia
"I have 5 years of experience teaching piano and helping students develop confidence through engaging and supportive lessons. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano, which has strengthened my knowledge of performance, creativity, and modern piano styles. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable while building strong musical skills.
My teaching philosophy focuses on musical intent, balanced development, and helping students understand the purpose behind every piece they play. I teach theory, music history, technique, and creativity while adapting lessons to match each student's needs. I enjoy working with students at all levels and guiding them through their individual musical journeys.
I have supported beginners, developing players, and advanced students who want to improve their skills and explore new ideas. I often use creative activities like improvisation and simple composition to make lessons more inspiring. Seeing students gain confidence and express themselves through music is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

I create a balanced plan that supports each student's personal goals and learning style.
I help students develop confident playing habits through practical exercises and meaningful pieces. For example, we may practice a new technique and then apply it directly to a song so the skill feels useful and enjoyable. This helps students understand how practice connects to real music.
I also focus on listening skills, musical awareness, and applying theory while playing. Students learn how chords, scales, and patterns work together to improve their understanding of music. Each lesson is adjusted to support steady progress and build long-term confidence.
My goal is to help students become skilled pianists who enjoy exploring music. I support learners in developing strong foundations while encouraging creativity and independence. With consistent guidance, you can improve your playing and discover the joy of making music."
