About Micela
I am a fun and vibrant 24 year old qualified teacher that graduated from Stellenbosch University. My home language is Afrikaans, but I am also fluent in English. Therefore I can easily communicate and teach in either of the two languages. I have found myself to be more drawn to teaching and tutoring online and I enjoy the one on one time that I get to spend with learners. I believe that in this manner, learners can get the most out of each and every lesson. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing how a child progresses.

My lessons are learner centered, as I believe learners learn best when they are in control. I implement the "I do, we do, you do" approach, I demonstrate to the learners, then we do it together, and then the learners do it independently. My lessons are fun, creative and captivating. I ensure that learners are engaged throughout the whole lesson so that success can take place. My lessons are aimed at learners that struggle with Afrikaans, or even learners that want to start learning Afrikaans, therefore, all proficiency levels are welcome.
