About Thevindu

As a passionate and dedicated Software Engineering student, I am committed to helping students build strong foundations in coding and app development. My tutoring sessions are designed to empower students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their projects and academic goals.

With hands-on experience in real-world coding environments and a solid academic background, I bring both practical knowledge and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals to every lesson. I take pride in creating a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere, where students can ask questions freely and progress at their own pace.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I ensure each session is structured, engaging, and tailored to your unique needs. You can trust that you're learning from someone who is both passionate about teaching and equipped with the right experience to guide you through your coding journey.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on providing a clear, step-by-step approach to learning, tailoring lessons based on each student’s unique needs and goals. My teaching methodology emphasizes hands-on practice, problem-solving, and real-world application, ensuring students not only understand concepts but also know how to apply them.

Typical lesson structure:
Each lesson is usually 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s preference and focus areas. I incorporate coding exercises, project-based learning, and active discussions to keep the lessons engaging and productive.

Qualifications/Experience:
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computing in Software Engineering and have experience in real-world projects involving app development, web services, and algorithmic thinking. I have also worked on group projects and individual assignments, giving me insights into different learning and problem-solving approaches.

Who my lessons are for:
My lessons are suitable for anyone from beginners to intermediate coders, typically aged 7 and up. Whether you’re a high school student, a university student, or an adult looking to enhance your coding skills, I can adapt my lessons to meet your needs.
