About Kristelle Cate

Hello! I am an experienced English tutor and currently graduated for Bachelor’s Degree in English Language with TESOL at the university. I have been tutoring my students and helping them gain confidence in their English language skills for quite a long time now.

I believe that learning a foreign language should be fun, and my students are my best friends and always support each other.

I have been working with students of different ages and levels. I am patient and understanding with my students and try to explain everything clearly so that they all can achieve their goals.

I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions and can help my students improve their reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and listening skills. All my lessons are interactive and engaging, and I try to make the process of learning English as fun as possible.

I am always open to suggestions and can work with my students on any topic they are interested in. I believe that every student deserves a good teacher who can help them succeed, so I will do my best to help each of my students achieve their goals. Let’s make your English learning experience enjoyable and exciting!

About the lesson

I believe that every student learns differently so I teach you my way according to your goals, and my way of teaching my students is a student-centered, interactive and encouraging method in which I focus on making my students feel at ease so that they are able to ask me questions and make mistakes. I believe in explaining, practicing, visualizing and rewarding in order to get my student to fully understand and to feel comfortable using the English language.

My lessons usually start with a warm up or a review from our last lesson in order to refresh everyone's memory. We then start the lesson by breaking down what we will be learning that day, and practicing it together. We spend most of the lesson doing interactive activities, talking, acting out, reading, listening to, and writing about the topic that we are learning based on the goals you want to achieve. We also spend time in the lesson breaking down what we have learned, and correcting mistakes. I end the lesson by summarizing what we worked on, and answering any questions. I may also give you practice activities to work on in order for you to reinforce what you have learned.

What makes me a great tutor is my patience and flexibility as well as having a genuine interest in my students' goals and progress. Being an English Language graduate, and having aTESOL certificate, I strongly believe in my ability to create interactive and engaging lesson plans in order for my students to learn and feel comfortable in their own ability. I have many ways to engage my students and focus on building their confidence, and proficiency in the English language according to their likes and dislikes, and their own pace of learning.

My lessons can be for students ranging in age starting from little kids to teens learning English. They can be beginner's lessons to intermediate ones. I can help with speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practices. I am also here to help with school work and exams.
