About Purdey
I have been singing for at least 15 years and have studied at numerous music institutes with my most recent one being in Brighton. Here, I polished up on my craft at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, where I was awarded my BAHons Degree in Professional Musicianship (Specialising in vocals). This is the same academy that has seen the likes of George Ezra, James Bay, Tom Odell and many more!
I have worked alongside some incredible practitioners, and over the years, have developed a huge network in the music industry and have even been featured singing on BBC South news, Cross Counties Radio, and interviewed on BBC Radio Leicester. I have been trained by and worked closely with vocal & music industry experts throughout the years. Very excited to be singing for The Royal British Legion in Oct '24, where I have the opportunity to perform solo at De Montfort Hall, following Jane McDonald.
I am full-time in my freelance work and run a thriving business in private bespoke vocal coaching & and this is all done alongside my performance work; Weddings, festivals, corporate performances, and more. Resulting in me performing to over 4,000 people at a Christmas Lights Switch on.
