About Elena
I am an award winning filmmaker with over 8 years experience. I have worked as a film theory and production tutor at the University of Essex since 2015 and my students have achieved excellent results and first class degrees. As an experienced filmmaker and teacher, I can help students with no previous experience of film production to acquire the necessary skills.

I offer practice based lessons, focusing on what the student is most interested in learning about. I can teach the basics of filmmaking, like camera settings and using equipment, and advanced techniques in framing, lighting, sound, and editing, as well as pre-production and production.
