Having taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I empathize with the challenges and daunting aspects of the coursework undertaken by architectural students.
My approach is to engage with the particular areas of concern or lack of confidence and nurture the student gently and methodically to develop their ideas and potential for excellent work. Every architectural student has the ability to produce fine and more thoughtful work with my guidance.
Becoming an architect is a long and arduous journey and the time you spend at university should be fun and rewarding, not stressful and lacking in confidence. There are many strands of excellence within the role of the architect and it's finding your own strengths that will allow you to overcome any areas of doubt or uncertainty.
